Michael G. Harris, PE, owner of Harris Mangement Services.
Michael Harris graduated Summa Cum Laude from Jordan Energy Institute in 1984 with a bachelor of Renewable Energy Engineering Technology. He worked in the engineering, contracting and public utility realms for 20 years before starting Harris Management Services, LLC, a sustainability consulting firm dedicated to strengthening the link between individual wellness and growth, and the cultural transformation from the dominant empire paradigm to something that author David Korten calls Earth Community. He earned a Professional Engineering license in 1994 and continues to provide consulting services to the global carbon offset and energy efficiency trading markets with a focus on creating as much real value as possible within the current limitations of abstraction-based global sustainability solutions.
Harris is the founder of HEAL, the Healing Energy Alliance, a not-for-profit community wellness service cooperative. He is president of ECCoLoV, the Earth Charter Community of the Lower Valley, a 501c3 non-profit educational corporation providing a channel of understanding and a means of realizing the ethical framework of the Earth Charter. He has an MBA from the University of Connecticut and is a Certified Emotional Clearing Therapist.
